I wrote and directed this 4-episode comedy series for the launch of Square (now Block) Terminal API. The big idea here is that Square hired a (fictitious, not me!) director for the launch campaign of Terminal API, and the campaign is an absolute disaster. The result is a (scripted) BTS mockumentary about the making of an awful campaign, culminating with the worst tech sizzle you’ve ever seen.
The rest of the launch campaign supported this idea on web and social with lines like “We tried to make some commercials for Terminal API. It didn’t work out.”
